Our client, a top international Pharmaceutical/Healthcare firm, is currently seeking a **Finance and Planning Analyst** for a **12 month** temporary contract with the opportunity for an extension. The position is located in **Fort Worth, TX.**

The hours for this position are as follows
·Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Key finance role within IT Finance Department. The main responsibilities are: to business partner with project manager in giving end to end support from creation of project until close out. Track and analyze IT project spending and ensure proper accounting. Act as point of contact for Project Manager for project related inquiries. Review AUC and ensure accurate project accounting and reporting.
**Responsibilities include (but aren’t limited to):**
+ Responsible for correct charging of internal resources
+ Analysis and control of Project expenses, including review of variations to the authorized budgets / LEs, demonstrating ability to understand rational/impacts of changes vs plans
+ Coordinate with PMO for project prioritization and changes to project portfolio
+ Review monthly project spend forecast and forecast input in resource tracker
**Reporting & Management Information:**
+ Communication of unexpected events affecting financial performance, or impacting key assumptions, in a transparent and timely manner
+ Responsible for correct reporting of project cost according to guidance
+ Keep reporting up to date and provide reports to PMs
+ Ensure accurate and compliant project financials (accruals, resource allocation, CAPEX/OPEX split
+ Ensure smooth month end closing (goods receipt, accruals, re-class)
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors or MBA in Finance/ Certified Expert in Accounting and Controlling or similar certificate as well as a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in following areas: Business Planning and Analyses, Business process and system development, budgeting, controlling and reporting (Cost management), Performance monitoring (KPIs, benchmarking) and Strong analytical skills. Knowledge of software & systems, such as MS Excel, and PowerPoint are required. Proficiency in SAP, BI, TM1, and Clarity are helpful in this role.
